About AnswerMonk
AnswerMonk is a GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) intelligence platform that measures how brands appear in AI answers from ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
AnswerMonk was founded in 2026 to answer one question with evidence instead of opinion: when a buyer asks an AI assistant a question in your category, does your brand appear in the answer — and if not, what specifically would change that?
What does AnswerMonk measure?
AnswerMonk measures brand presence in AI-generated answers: how often a brand is named across a panel of real buyer prompts, at what rank, on which engines, and which third-party sources the engines cite when they form recommendations. The output is an appearance rate, a competitor leaderboard, a citation-source breakdown and a prioritized action plan — per engine, never blended into a single flattering average.
How does AnswerMonk measure it?
Four commitments define the method; each is documented in full at /methodology.
Real engine runs
Every data point comes from a live answer recorded from a real engine at run time. Nothing is simulated, estimated or backfilled from historical data.
Deterministic scoring
Recorded answers are scored by fixed, published rules — appearance is counted, not judged. Two people running the same panel over the same answers get the same numbers.
Evidence-graded recommendations
Every recommendation traces to something you can open: the prompt, the recorded answer, and the citation behind it. Advice that cannot show its evidence stays out of the report.
Re-audit verification
Fixes are not assumed to work. On each monthly re-audit the identical prompt panel is replayed, and each completed fix is stamped verified or not-moved against the fresh run.
Why does this approach matter?
AI answers are volatile — the same question, rephrased, can crown a different brand. Single spot-checks and unverifiable advice are the norm in this category. AnswerMonk's position is that a number you cannot reproduce is not a measurement, so the platform reports rates across prompt panels, publishes its method, and re-tests its own recommendations.
Where do I start?
The audit is free and takes 3–8 minutes: it runs your category's buyer prompts and returns your appearance rate, competitor leaderboard and citation sources. Ongoing monitoring is $19/mo per brand — details on the pricing page.
Free AI visibility audit — no signup, results in 3–8 minutes.
